About the NSOCC
Since 1976, we have met annually with the aim of sharing knowledge and experience and developing best practice across areas, such as claims management, standard trading conditions, bills of lading terms and the handling of hazardous goods.
Each year the conference is kindly hosted by a NSOCC member in their home country, with recent conferences taking place in Helsinki, Oslo, Antwerp, Chatham, Copenhagen, Gothenburg, Durham, Rotterdam, Hamburg and Palanga, and we always aim to keep the cost for attending this 'not for profit' conference affordable.
The membership of North Sea Operators’ Claims Conference is chiefly made up of ship owners operating on the North Sea, the Baltic or Irish Sea
Our membership also includes P&I clubs and other related insurers, specialist shipping lawyers, surveyors and other experts.
